23XI Racing Confirms Team Has Not Signed Latest Charter Agreement
13 of the 15 organizations that own the 36 Team Charters in the NASCAR Cup Series have signed the NASCAR Charter Agreement. 23XI Racing confirmed in a statement on Saturday that they were one of the two teams that opted to not sign by the NASCAR-imposed deadline of Friday at Midnight.
Front Row Motorsports, which is believed to be the other team that has not signed the agreement, has declined comment on the Charter Agreement at this time as they told Adam Stern of Sports Business Journal that the team, “is not going to comment on its charter discussions at this time.”

Michael McDowell Continues Superspeedway Qualifying Dominance with Atlanta Pole
Michael McDowell, who had not recorded a single pole position in his NASCAR Cup Series career heading into the 2024 season, notched his fifth pole of the season in Saturday’s qualifying session at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
The pole marks the fourth-consecutive for McDowell at superspeedway style tracks, a streak which began at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the spring.
Ryan Blaney, the defending NASCAR Cup champion and current Playoff contender, will start from the outside of the front row. Denny Hamlin, one of the Championship favorites, will start dead last after suffering powertrain issues during his qualifying lap.

Austin Hill Defends Last-Lap Charges for Fourth Xfinity Win at Atlanta
Austin Hill got it done yet again, as he overcame an ill-handling car to whip around Chandler Smith in the closing laps to take the race win in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Atlanta.
This is the fourth win of Hill’s Xfinity career at the 1.54-mile speedway.
