Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc on the South East of the United States. As of Tuesday, more than 150 people have officially perished due to the storm, which made landfall in Florida on September 27th.
The areas most impacted by the storm have included North Carolina and Tennessee. As families and communities are still reeling from the storms, many within the NASCAR industry have stepped in to render aid to those in need.
23XI Racing and team co-owner Michael Jordan have made $1-million in donations to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund and Second Harvest of Metrolina.
23XI Racing, Kaulig Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing, and RFK Racing are all taking donations of supplies for those in need. Joe Gibbs Racing is offering up its team helicopter, which has been dropping off items in affected areas.
Retired NASCAR driver Greg Biffle has teamed up with YouTuber Garrett Mitchell (Cleetus McFarland) and have been flying in supplies with Biffle’s helicopter as well, and several race tracks are taking in donations for those in need as well.
