Case of the Mondays: I know, I know… Mondays aren’t fun. But look at it on the bright side, at least you weren’t eliminated from the Playoffs like four drivers in Saturday’s Night Race at Bristol. Let’s keep digging, Kansas Speedway is this weekend, and it’s played host to some of the best races in recent years.
Kyle Larson Leads 92% of Laps on Path to Bristol Night Race Win; Round of 12 Set
In one of the most severe butt-whoopings we’ve seen in recent NASCAR Cup Series history, Kyle Larson took the checkered flag in Saturday night’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway by more than seven seconds over his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Chase Elliott.
With the win, Larson advanced to the Round of 12 of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs along with Christopher Bell, Alex Bowman, Chase Elliott, Austin Cindric, Ryan Blaney, Tyler Reddick, William Byron, Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin, Chase Briscoe, and Daniel Suarez.
The four drivers eliminated from the Playoffs were Ty Gibbs, Martin Truex Jr., Brad Keselowski, and Harrison Burton.
