Brandon Jones Scores Fourth Pole of 2024 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Make that four poles on the year for Brandon Jones, the current driver of the No. 9 JR Motorsports Chevrolet in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Jones picked up the pole for Saturday’s Ambetter Health 402 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a lap time of 29.439 seconds (183.430 mph). Jones topped Cole Custer by 0.039 seconds for the pole.

The pole-winning run marked a perfect Friday for the JR Motorsports driver on Friday in Sin City as Jones also paced NASCAR Xfinity Series practice prior to Friday’s qualifying session.
Jones cranked out a fast lap of 30.155 seconds (179.074 mph) in practice, which was 0.211 seconds ahead of Taylor Gray in P2.
