Charles Denike to Replace Bootie Barker as Bubba Wallace Crew Chief in 2025
After missing the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, Bubba Wallace is set to have a brand-new crew chief for the 2025 season, 23XI Racing announced on Wednesday.
Bootie Barker will transition into a competition leadership role within the organization, while Charles Denike — crew chief for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series — will transition into the job.
Denike has spent time at GMS Racing and McAnally-Hilgemann Racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. This season, he’s worked with Christian Eckes and remains in championship contention.

Miles Stanley to Serve as Crew Chief for Josh Berry, Wood Brothers in 2025
Miles Stanley, a long-time race engineer for Team Penske, will be promoted to crew chief at Wood Brothers Racing for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series campaign, the organization officially announced Wednesday.
Stanley, who has taken on some interim crew chief roles during his time at Team Penske, will lead Josh Berry and the No. 21 Ford Mustang Dark Horse in 2025, as the team looks to improve its overall performance.
