Report: Kasey Kahne Nearing Return to NASCAR Full-Time in 2027
If anyone was able to hit a bingo on their bingo cards with all of the random and unexpected news that has been flying around, congratulations. On Kasey Kahne Friday, a report from The Athletic, citing sources familiar with the situation, suggests that Kasey Kahne is finalizing a deal with Spire Motorsports to return to NASCAR competition full-time in 2027.
According to the report, Kahne, 46, would drive one of the Spire Chevrolet Silverados for the full NASCAR FedEx Freight Truck Series campaign. The 18-time NASCAR Cup Series race winner will serve as the veteran voice for the young, talented drivers in Spire’s developmental pipeline.
