Ryan Vargas Returns to On Point Motorsports at Texas

Ryan Vargas, who finished 14th in his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut for On Point Motorsports a couple of weeks ago in Atlanta, will return to the team for this weekend’s event at Texas Motor Speedway.
Vargas will pilot the No. 30 Toyota Tundra, which will carry primary sponsorship from Rangeline.

Blaine Perkins to Return to Our Motorsports No. 02 at Richmond

Blaine Perkins and SS Green Light Racing parted ways heading into last weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Circuit of the Americas, but Perkins won’t be without a ride for long.
On Monday, Our Motorsports announced that the team had snagged Perkins to pilot its No. 02 entry at Richmond Raceway.
“We had an opening for our No. 02 at Richmond,” said Vic Reynolds, co-owner of Our Motorsports. “Blaine has been an important part of our team’s short history. He competed in the top-10 the entire race last fall at Martinsville and we want to give him the chance to do that again in Richmond.”

Big Machine Label Group Issues Statement on Scott Borchetta’s Condition Following Sunday Trans Am Crash

On Monday, the Big Machine Label Group released a statement on the condition of its Chairman and CEO Scott Borchetta, who was injured in a crash on Lap 24 of Sunday’s Trans Am event at Road Atlanta.
“[Scott] was taken to the hospital to assess his injuries and is currently in stable condition. We ask everyone to please respect the Borchetta family’s privacy during this time.”
Additionally, the Trans Am Series also released a statement in regards to Borchetta:
“On behalf of the entire Trans Am staff and management, we want to wish Scott Borchetta a speedy recovery. Scott is a passionate and talented competitor, and his dedication to Trans Am is evidenced by his participation as a team owner, driver and partner. The safety of our drivers, teams and at-track personnel is our number one priority. We are deeply thankful to the safety and medical crews at the racetrack, as well as those at the local hospital who have provided excellent care.”
