Trackhouse Racing Signs Shane van Gisbergen to 2024 Developmental Program
Shane van Gisbergen, who won the inaugural NASCAR Cup Series street race in Chicago, has officially joined the Trackhouse Racing team in a developmental program beginning with the 2024 season.
In a late-night announcement on Wednesday, the team announced that the three-time Australian Supercars champion will run a combination of events between all three of NASCAR’s National Series ranks next season.
“This announcement means so many things to me. I’m proud of what I have achieved here in Australia, but I’m excited by this new chapter in my career and the opportunities that it brings,” said van Gisbergen. “I’m so thankful to everyone who has played a role in my career so far, especially Triple Eight Race Engineering, and looking forward to finishing our year with a few more highlights.”

Ben Rhodes, Hailie Deegan Swapping Crew Chiefs Ahead of Truck Race at Bristol
ThorSport Racing has decided to shake up its crew chief lineup beginning with Thursday’s UNOH 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway. Ben Rhodes, who won the 2021 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship, will have his third crew chief of the year as he’ll be reunited with Rich Lushes for the final three races of the year.
Lushes and Rhodes paired in that 2021 championship season.
Deegan, who had been paired with Lushes, will now have Brian Ross, who had been serving as Deegan’s crew chief, atop the pit box for the No. 13 team.
Rhodes is still in hot pursuit of another NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series title.

Noah Gragson Entering ASA STARS Race at Toledo with Rette Jones Racing
Noah Gragson, who was reinstated by NASCAR earlier this week after a 37-day suspension, will get back behind the wheel in a competitive race. However, it will not be in a NASCAR-sanctioned race. Gragson will enter the ASA STARS National Tour event at Toledo Speedway on Saturday, September 16th.
Gragson will pilot the No. 30 entry for Rette Jones Racing in the event. That race will be broadcast on Racing America.

Crav’n Flavor Sponsoring Derek Kraus at Bristol Via Kaulig Racing, Food City Partnership
Derek Kraus will carry a new co-primary sponsorship partner on the No. 11 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet Camaro in Friday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway. In a partnership with Food City, the No. 11 machine will feature Crav’n Flavor, a brand that features a full line of quality chips, salty snacks, meat snacks, crackers, frozen desserts, and ice cream products.
Hardscrape Construction will return as the co-primary for Kraus in the race.
