TC Daily Pit Stop: Three Injured in Shop Fire at RBR, Dexter Stacey Running Daytona for MBM, Clash Entry List, and MORE!
On Thursday, Reaume Brothers Racing released on official statement - via social media - detailing a fire that broke out at the team’s Mooresville, North Carolina shop in the early afternoon, which left three team members injured.
According to the Mooresville Fire Department, one crew member was sent to the hospital due to smoke inhalation, while the other two were sent to the hospital for severe burns.
Reaume Brothers Racing had just announced a partnership with Ford Performance on Tuesday, while also announcing that Mason Massey would serve as the team’s first-ever full-time driver in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Dexter Stacey, who last competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2016, will return to the second-tier series at Daytona International Speedway in February, piloting the No. 66 Chevrolet Camaro for MBM Motorsports.
Carl Long, owner of MBM Motorsports, confirmed Stacey’s status for Daytona, while also offering up that the Canadian driver could run additional races throughout the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.
Long also mentions that Timmy Hill, long-time driver for MBM Motorsports, could pilot the No. 13 Toyota Supra at Daytona, but that remains subject to change.
After debuting in the NASCAR Cup Series with Trackhouse Racing last season, Worldwide Express will return to the multi-car organization in an increased capacity for 2023, nearly doubling the number of races on-board one of the team’s two entries.
Worldwide Express will sponsor Ross Chastain’s No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro in 18 points-paying NASCAR Cup Series events, as well as the Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum.
Additionally, the company will serve as a two-race primary sponsor of Daniel Suarez and the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro throughout the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season.
It’s that time of year, again. The preliminary entry list for the 2023 Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum has been released, featuring 36 entries, including: #8 Kyle Busch, #15 JJ Yeley, #16 AJ Allmendinger, #41 Ryan Preece, #42 Noah Gragson, #45 Tyler Reddick, #51 Cody Ware, #78 BJ McLeod
