The CW to Take Over NASCAR Xfinity Series Broadcasts in Final Eight Races of 2024
The CW, originally set to take over broadcasting rights for the NASCAR Xfinity Series beginning in 2025, will have coverage of the final eight events of the season, the network announced on Thursday.
Rick Allen, Steve Letarte, and Jeff Burton will remain in the broadcast booth for those events, as NBC will continue to produce the events. However, all practice and qualifying sessions will still be shown on USA Network (or one of NBC’s affiliate cable channels).
“We have a great partnership with NASCAR and welcome The CW to the family of NASCAR broadcasters,” said Rick Cordella, President, NBC Sports. “This sneak peek of NASCAR Xfinity Series races will continue to feature NBC Sports’ critically acclaimed NASCAR production while assisting in the transition for fans to watch the Xfinity Series on The CW full-time in 2025.”
Bristol Motor Speedway (Friday, September 20), will be the first event shown on The CW.
