Despite suffering a devastating loss at Martinsville again, as he did last fall, Taylor Gray showed incredible maturity despite confronting Sammy Smith following last Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Martinsville Speedway.

In an interview with SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, Gray said despite his anger with Smith that he has, “Too much respect for Dale [Earnhardt Jr.], Kelley [Earnhardt-Miller] and everybody that works at [JR Motorsports] to just start going and wrecking their cars and their equipment just to prove a point.”

In a series where things have gone further and further over the line in recent years, Gray is becoming an exception to the rule as he is attempting to show class and clean race craft on the track.
