Shane Van Gisbergen Returning to PROJECT91 Entry at Indy Road Course
Shane van Gisbergen, who scored an impressive win in his NASCAR Cup Series debut on the streets of Chicago in the No. 91 entry for Trackhouse Racing, will return for his second NASCAR Cup Series start at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course next month.
The 34-year-old Australian Supercars legend will once again run the PROJECT91 entry. SVG’s entry at Indy is the latest big-name driver addition to the lineup, which already included Jenson Button, Brodie Kostecki, and Kamui Kobayashi.

Sage Karam Tapped to Drive Sam Hunt Racing No. 24 at Road America
Sage Karam, who has made five NASCAR Xfinity Series starts in 2023 for Alpha Prime Racing, will move to the No. 24 entry for Sam Hunt Racing for the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series Henry 180 at Road America.
This race will mark the 19th start of Karam’s NASCAR Xfinity Series career. Karam, a nine-time Indy 500 starter, is excited for the chance with Sam Hunt Racing.
“I’m really grateful for the opportunity Sam and Toyota have presented me to drive the No. 24 Sam Hunt Racing GR Supra at Road America,” said Karam. “Sam [Hunt] has developed a really great program in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and it’s really an honor to drive for him.”

The Memoirs of a Small Time Racing Driver: Martinsville
Stephen Mallozzi is back with the third installment of his Memoirs of a Small Time Racing Driver. In the first two chapters, Mallozzi broke down the journey from being a go kart racer, who thought his dreams of racing in NASCAR were over, to actually making his hectic first-career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start at Mid-Ohio in 2022. This time, Mallozzi breaks down how conversations with some friends convinced him to keep trying to make additional NASCAR starts, and how his Truck start at Martinsville with AM Racing came to be earlier this season.

SRX TV Schedule Thursday, July 20th; Heat 1 Starting Lineup and More
It’s time for Round 2 of the 2023 Camping World SRX Racing Series. Thursday Night Thunder at Stafford gets kicked off at 9:00 PM ET tonight on ESPN. The race will feature two 25-lap (12-minute timed) Heat Races as well as an 80-lap feature race.
Hailie Deegan has drawn the pole for the first Heat Race tonight, the second Heat Race lineup will be the inverse of the finishing order from Heat 1, and the Main Event lineup will be determined based on combined results from Heats 1 and 2.
