Daniel Suárez, Freeway Insurance Returning to Trackhouse No. 99 in 2025
Daniel Suarez, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series race winner and founding driver of the Trackhouse Racing team, will return to the organization for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. Trackhouse confirmed the contract extension on Friday.
2025 will mark Suarez’s fifth season in the No. 99 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet. Freeway Insurance will also return as a primary sponsorship partner for Suarez and the No. 99 team next season.
“Trackhouse is home to me and I have enjoyed every minute I have been here,” said Suárez who became the first Mexican driver to win a Cup race when he dominated the race at Sonoma (Calif.) Raceway in June 2022. “We plan to keep working, growing and winning more races. We can only do that with the support of my Amigos and Amigas at Freeway Insurance. They have backed me for the last several years and we have grown close with their customers and employees.”

Bristol Motor Speedway Announces Major League Baseball Game at Venue in 2025
Bristol Motor Speedway has played host to countless races, concerts, and even football games. But in 2025, the 0.533-mile short track will do something it’s never done before — Bristol Motor Speedway will host a Major League Baseball game. The MLB game will be the first to ever be contested in the state of Tennessee.
On August 2, 2025 the Atlanta Braves will face off against the Cincinnati Reds, who will be designated as the home team in the game. The game will be dubbed the MLB Speedway Classic, and will be presented by BuildSubmarines.com.

Jacob Canter Named Director of Competition for LEGACY MOTOR CLUB
Jacob Canter, who served as a race engineer for Joe Gibbs Racing for years, has joined LEGACY MOTOR CLUB as the team’s Director of Competition.
“I am incredibly excited to join LEGACY MOTOR CLUB and embark on this new journey,” said Jacob Canter, Director of Competition for LEGACY MOTOR CLUB. “I am thankful to Maury, Jimmie, Richard, and Cal for this opportunity. It is a competitive advantage to be a part of a team with amazing vision and leadership. I look forward to collaborating with the talented team at LEGACY MOTOR CLUB to drive our success on and off the track with a championship mindset.”
Canter joins the team along with Bobby Kennedy, who will take over the newly created role of General Manager within the LEGACY MOTOR CLUB organization. Canter and Kennedy will report to Cal Wells III, the CEO of LEGACY MOTOR CLUB.

Jordan Anderson Returns as Driver at Daytona and Talladega with Backing From Volpi
Jordan Anderson will return to the driver’s seat for the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series events at Daytona and Talladega with Volpi Foods as his primary sponsorship partner. Anderson, who finished fourth in the season-opening race at Daytona, will pilot the No. 32 Chevrolet for his Jordan Anderson Racing team.

FunkAway Joins Beard Motorsports as Sponsor for Retzlaff in Cup Race at Daytona
FunkAway, a longtime partner of Parker Retzlaff, will join the 21-year-old driver as the primary sponsor of the No. 62 Beard Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Cup Series Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona later this month.
Retzlaff is making his NASCAR Cup Series debut this weekend at Richmond Raceway for MBM Motorsports.
