Daniel Suárez Caps Off Three-Race NASCAR Brasil Series Weekend at Interlagos
Daniel Suárez contested a total of three races in the NASCAR Brasil Series this weekend at Interlagos, and he had a successful stint behind the wheel of the No. 91 Chevrolet. Suárez was initially the winner of the opening prelim race but was assessed a five-second rough driving penalty and finished sixth. He won the second prelim race, and after suffering brake issues in the final race on Sunday, Suárez finished that event in fourth.
Suárez, who got married to his longtime girlfriend Julia Piquet last Tuesday, will now head back to the United States to compete at Richmond Raceway this weekend.

William Sawalich Overcomes a Late Race Wreck To Win in Wild Finish at Elko Speedway
William Sawalich was the dominant driver in Saturday night’s ARCA Menards Series event at Elko Speedway, but he had to rally in the closing laps to take the win after being spun from the lead with 101 laps remaining by lapped car Michael Maples.
After Sawalich got back on track, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver set sail and got back into the fight for the win with Lavar Scott, and Kris Wright. What ensued was a wild contact-filled battle, which resulted in all three drivers coming off of the final turn three-wide and sideways.
Sawalich would win by 0.011 seconds.

Treyten Lapcevich Earns First Career CARS Tour Win at North Wilkesboro
It took two months of waiting, but the zMAX CARS Tour finally got a chance to contest the Window World 125 at North Wilkesboro Speedway, and my was it a wild race.
Treyten Lapcevich, who won after some hair-raising moments and a late-race restart took his first career CARS Tour win.
“It’s unreal,” said Lapcevich. “I’ve got to thank all the people that have believed in me to get to this point. So, so thankful to have the support of Evirum, the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship and Chad Bryant Racing. These guys gave me a great car.”
After missing a shift on Lap 9, Treyten Lapcevich caused a massive pileup behind him. Lapcevich, who would go on to win the race, apologized to those involved in his victory interview.
“I also want to throw an apology out there for my mistake earlier in the race. I know my words can’t fix those guys’ race cars, but I’m really sorry about that. It’s a mistake and it happens.”

Greg Biffle to Contest ARCA West Event at Tri-City Raceway
Greg Biffle, a 19-time NASCAR Cup Series race winner and champion of the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Truck Series will compete in the ARCA Menards Series West race at Tri-City Raceway on August 10.
Biffle, 54, will pilot the No. 23 Chevrolet for Sigma Performance Racing.
“I’m so excited to return to the famous Tri-City Raceway in the Tri-Cities, Washington area,” Biffle said. “I’m looking forward to returning to the track in an ARCA West car almost 30 years after I won the track championship. It’s an honor to drive for one of the teams well-known in the sport, and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to return to racing at this historic Northwest racetrack.”

Congratulations to Cole Custer and his wife Kari as the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Callahan Brian Custer, into the world. Custer shared the news and a photo of the bundle of joy on his X account on Sunday evening.
