Joey Logano Dominates 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro
Joey Logano absolutely dominated the NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro on Sunday night to claim the $1-million winner’s prize. The driver of the No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford Mustang Dark Horse led 199 of the race’s 200 laps, and crossed the finish line 0.636 sec. ahead of Denny Hamlin, who finished second.
With the win, Logano becomes just the second driver in the 40 year history of the NASCAR All-Star Race to win the event at two different locations (Charlotte and North Wilkesboro).
“A lot of fun when you’ve got a car this fast,” said Logano after the race. “The Shell/Pennzoil Mustang, it’s just so great to get in Victory Lane. All of our sponsors and everyone who stuck with us to get a win, it feels nice. It’s been a while. I wish it was for points, but a million bucks is still a lot of money and I feel great about that.”
