Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. Inks Multi-Year Contract Extension with JTG Daugherty Racing
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was set to hit the free agent market following the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. Thanks to a multi-year contract extension, announced by JTG Daugherty Racing on Thursday, that won’t happen.
Stenhouse, the 2023 Daytona 500 champion, will remain in place as the driver of the No. 47 machine in 2025 and beyond.
“When I joined this team in 2020, I knew both the team and I were capable of putting the No. 47 in victory lane. Although I wish it came sooner, winning the DAYTONA 500 last year proved that we can win together,” said Stenhouse. “We have a fantastic group of guys at the shop, great management, solid partners, and an ever-improving program. I’m very excited to continue my relationship with the team, I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised to see what we have in store for the future.”

Tyler Reddick Honoring Tim Richmond with 1982 Throwback Scheme
Tyler Reddick, 23XI Racing, and MoneyLion revealed the driver’s throwback paint scheme for next weekend’s Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway, and it’s an awesome, obscure look.
Reddick will throw it back to Tim Richmond’s 1982 season as he’ll run the paint scheme that Richmond attempted, but failed, to make the Daytona 500 field with. Richmond did go on to score the win in the Daytona 500 consolation race with the car.
MoneyLion will also commission two custom firesuits, which look like the one that Richmond wore in 1982 for Reddick to wear during the race weekend. MoneyLion will give the suits away on their social channels in the lead up to the race.
