Jeff Stankiewicz Joins TRICON Garage Competition Staff
Veteran NASCAR crew chief Jeff Stankiewicz has officially joined TRICON Garage, adding a championship-caliber mind to the team’s competition staff effective immediately. The move comes just weeks after Stankiewicz’s surprising mid-playoff departure from CR7 Motorsports, where he guided Grant Enfinger and the No. 9 Chevrolet to two wins, 15 top-fives, and a Championship 4 appearance over the past two seasons. TRICON General Manager Kevin Ray praised the hire, calling Stankiewicz “a top-tier competitor” who will elevate the organization heading into the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season.
A native of Clarksville, Indiana, Stankiewicz brings over 15 years of experience atop the pit box, with championship success in both the ARCA Menards Series (2018) and Truck Series (2020) alongside Sheldon Creed. Across his career, he’s earned 12 Truck Series wins and 10 ARCA victories, working with drivers like Creed, Enfinger, and Kyle Larson. Though his Xfinity Series tenure didn’t produce a win, his track record of consistency and leadership has made him one of the most respected strategists in the garage. TRICON has yet to reveal Stankiewicz’s specific 2026 driver pairing, but one thing is clear — the organization just added one of the sport’s sharpest minds to its arsenal.
