Spire Motorsports and Justin Haley to Part Ways at Conclusion of 2025 Season
Justin Haley, who has had a less-than-stellar season behind the wheel of the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet this season, will not return to the organization for the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series campaign.
On Tuesday, Spire Motorsports confirmed that they would be moving on from the driver, who they re-acquired by way of a driver trade with Rick Ware Racing late in the 2024 season.
“This is a decision that was not taken lightly,” said Spire Motorsports co-owner Jeff Dickerson. “Justin has been a member of the Spire family since he was a teenager. We’ve watched Justin grow from a young driver trying to make his mark in the sport to a proven winner. He helped strengthen our organization into what it is today. He made us winners and returned home after forging his own path in the Cup Series. Justin is the embodiment of a true racer who has quietly become a respected competitor within the NASCAR garage and will be an incredible asset to his next team.”
A replacement for Haley has not been named, but Daniel Suarez, who will not return to the No. 99 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet, seems to be the most logical fit, currently.
