Ryan Blaney Defeats Carson Hocevar For Nashville Win, First Win of 2025
After a frustrating opening 13 races to the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season, Ryan Blaney finally found himself back in victory lane on Sunday night in the Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway.
Blaney’s crew chief, Jonathan Hassler, made an incredible two-tire pit call at the end of Stage 1, which allowed Blaney to gain track position, and once he was near the front, Blaney came to life. He would capture the Stage 2 win in an excellent battle with William Byron and Denny Hamlin, and then Blaney would dominate the final Stage of the race.
In the end, Blaney would cross the finish line 2.830 seconds ahead of Carson Hocevar, who picked up his second runner-up finish of the season.
