Rick Ware Racing, LEGACY MOTOR CLUB Settle Dispute Over Charter
LEGACY MOTOR CLUB and Rick Ware Racing have reached an agreement regarding the sale and transaction of a NASCAR Cup Series charter, the teams jointly announced on Friday.
The two NASCAR Cup Series operations have been in active litigation with each other since April, after LEGACY MOTOR CLUB sued Rick Ware Racing for attempting to back out of an agreement to sell one of the team’s charters, which was signed and initialed on March 3, 2025.
Throughout the initial court proceedings, one of the major points of stagnation was the timing of the transfer — with LEGACY MOTOR CLUB claiming the charter should be transferred before the 2026 season, and Rick Ware Racing saying the original agreement was for 2027.

Corey Heim Blasts to New Hampshire Pole; Sixth Pole of 2025 NASCAR Truck Season
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before, but Corey Heim led the way Friday afternoon in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The driver of the No. 11 TRICON Garage Toyota Tundra TRD Pro secured his sixth pole position of the season with a 28.946-second (131.583 mph) lap time around the 1.058-mile New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Heim, who is attempting to tie the all-time single-season win record in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, which is nine, set by Greg Biffle in 1999, knows the pole position at a place like New Hampshire Motor Speedway is ultra-important. However, Heim is slightly worried about his truck’s speed on the long run.
“Yeah, I really thought our fire-off speed was our strong suit, so I felt pretty good about qualifying. It was mostly the kind of consistent race runs that we were doing that I could have felt better about, and I still kind of have that same mindset,” Heim explained. “But being on the pole here, as most drivers know, is a pretty big deal just with how hard it is to pass. I got behind a couple of guys in practice, and it was really tough to get by them.”

Layne Riggs ‘Planning On’ Returning to Front Row Motorsports in 2026
With just five races remaining in the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign, including this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Layne Riggs remains in the thick of a tough championship fight: primarily with Corey Heim and TRICON Garage.
But, even with his full focus on hoisting a championship trophy in November at Phoenix Raceway, the native of Bahama, North Carolina, is looking ahead to what his future holds, for next season, and even beyond that.
In an interview with Racing America on SI ahead of Saturday’s Team EJP 175 at New Hampshire, Riggs says that he’s planning on returning to Front Row Motorsports for a third season as part of the organization’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series program in 2026.
