Parker Retzlaff Scores First-Career NASCAR Xfinity Pole; Tops Brandon Jones at Richmond
Parker Retzlaff scored his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series pole Saturday morning at Richmond Raceway. The 20-year-old Jordan Anderson Racing driver had a best career start of fourth, which he had achieved four times, heading into this weekend.
Brandon Jones will start from the outside pole of Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Toyota Care 250, which will be televised by FS1 at 1:30 PM ET.

Morgen Baird Returning Home as Fiancé Induced Into Labor; Postponing Xfinity Debut
Midwest Short Track racer Morgen Baird was set to make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut on Saturday at Richmond Raceway, but complications, which forced doctors to induce Baird’s fiance into labor, forced Baird to head back home to be with his family.
Fortunately, Baird’s child was delivered with no issue, and his fiance is doing well as well. Baird will reschedule his Xfinity Series debut with JD Motorsports and his sponsors. Garrett Smithley will fill in.

Kaden Honeycutt Wins Orange Krush 200 at Orange County Speedway
Kaden Honeycutt held off veteran short track racer Deac McCaskill to score the win in Friday night’s Rogers Heating & Cooling Orange Krush 200 at Orange County Speedway, and in doing so, he pocketed a $15,000 prize.
The race featured a duel between Jeb Burton and his father Ward Burton, who had never raced against each other before. The younger Burton took the win in the race within the race, as he finished sixth.
Ward Burton, who was competing for the first time in more than a decade, came home 15th in the 23-car field. Jeremy Mayfield finished one spot behind Ward Burton in 16th.

Gates Hydraulics Sponsoring Christian Eckes in Five NASCAR Truck Series Races
McAnally-Hilgemann Racing announced on Friday the return of longtime primary sponsorship partner Gates Hydraulics. Gates will serve as the primary sponsor of Christian Eckes and the No. 19 Chevrolet Silverado team in five NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races this season beginning with Texas Motor Speedway in a couple of weeks.
The company will return to the No. 19 machine at Darlington, Gateway, Kansas Speedway, and Martinsville Speedway.

Jeremy Clements and the No. 51 Jeremy Clements Racing team have landed a new primary sponsor in Nordic Logistics. The New York-based company will adorn the No. 51 Chevrolet in three NASCAR Xfinity Series races this season, beginning with this weekend at Richmond Raceway.
The Nordic colors will be on the No. 51 car at Dover and Watkins Glen later this season.

Kris Wright Joins TRICON Garage for Truck Races at Texas, Pocono
Kris Wright, who is in the midst of a full-time ARCA Menards Series campaign with Venturini Motorsports, will run a couple of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events for TRICON Garage in the No. 1 Toyota Tundra this season.
Wright will pilot the truck at Texas Motor Speedway and Pocono Raceway.
