William Sawalich Earns Redemption with Dominant Win at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway
Last season, William Sawalich dominated the ARCA East race at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway only to get passed late in the race by Luke Fenhaus. Sawalich aveneged that loss on Saturday night in Nashville.
Sawalich led 146 of the 150 laps in the event, and when Gio Ruggiero crashed in the early laps of the race, the only real competition for the win was gone.
“Yeah, it was a really good race, we had a really good Starkey/SoundGear Toyota Camry,” Sawalich said in Victory Lane. “Just really great to be here, love this track, won the All-American 400, lost this race last year on a restart, and redeemed ourselves, so it’s good.”
