Mobil 1 has expanded its relationship with Toyota Racing Development for the 2024 NASCAR season and the iconic motor oil brand will now serve as a primary sponsor for Joe Gibbs Racing, 23XI Racing, and LEGACY MOTOR CLUB.
In the NASCAR Cup Series, Mobil 1 will have a combined nine races of primary sponsorship between drivers Christopher Bell, Tyler Reddick, Bubba Wallace, and John Hunter Nemechek. The company will also serve as a multi-race primary sponsor of Chandler Smith and the No. 81 Toyota GR Supra in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
“TRD’s technical partnership with Mobil 1 has been integral to Toyota’s on-track performance and success over the past 20+ years,” explains David Wilson, president, TRD USA. “From winning the Indy 500 to championships in NASCAR, IMSA, NHRA and countless achievements in sports car, grass roots and dirt racing action, Mobil 1 has been the common denominator. As we begin another exciting racing season in 2024, we are honored to expand our partnership with Mobil 1.”
BetMGM and Richard Childress Racing will enter the fourth year of their partnership as the two entities announced the extension of their partnership on Tuesday. As part of the partnership, BetMGM will serve as a primary sponsorship partner for both Kyle Busch and Austin Dillon during the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.
BetMGM will also remain the Official Sports Betting Operator of Richard Childress Racing.
“Since our partnership first began in 2021, BetMGM has done an excellent job building on their partnership with Richard Childress Racing through fun, unique activations geared toward engaging race fans and sports bettors. We look forward to building on the success of our innovative partnership.”
Horizon Hobby will return as a primary sponsorship partner of Michael McDowell and the No. 34 Front Row Motorsports team in 2024. The brand will adorn the No. 34 Ford Mustang in two NASCAR Cup Series events.
The Horizon Hobby scheme will hit the track for the first time at Phoenix in March, and at Indianapolis in July. Horizon Hobby was the primary sponsor for McDowell during his race win at the Indianapolis Road Course last year.
“It was a great day in Indianapolis last year and I’m thrilled that Horizon Hobby will again be with us this year as we want to repeat that moment more and more,” commented McDowell. “Horizon Hobby promotes fun, family, and activities for people of all ages. You can be a kid or an adult and like planes, cars or boats and have fun with so many Horizon Hobby products. It’s just a cool partner for us and the sport.”
CELSIUS energy will return as a primary sponsorship of Corey LaJoie and the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 team for four races during the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season beginning with this weekend’s Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum.
Additionally, the CELSIUS branding will also be prominently showcased on LaJoie’s Chevrolet in events at Atlanta Motor Speedway (February 25), the Chicago Street Course (July 7), and the penultimate event of the regular season at Daytona International Speedway (August 24).
