Michael McDowell, Front Row Motorsports Parting Ways After 2024
Michael McDowell, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series race winner, will move on from the team that he has called home for the past seven seasons. On Wednesday morning, McDowell issued a statement issuing his gratitude to Front Row Motorsports , and expressing excitement for what is next in his racing career.
Bob Jenkins, the team owner for Front Row Motorsports issued his own statement, where he thanked McDowell for his contributions to the team, and for the achievements they shared together. Jenkins wished McDowell the best in the statement.
While 2024 hasn’t gone to plan for McDowell and Front Row, the pairing will look to close out their partnership with another trip to victory lane down the stretch in 2024.

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Confirmed to Join TNT, Amazon Prime for 2025 Broadcast Deals
While the big news on Wednesday morning was Michael McDowell being on the move, Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s official announcement of his 2025 announcing plans was the dominant story on Tuesday.
Earnhardt, who departed NBC Sports following the 2023 season, will officially join TNT Sports and Amazon Prime Video as an on-air commentator for the 10 NASCAR Cup Series races that will be aired on the two platforms next season.
Earnhardt will also contribute to a new Bleacher Report content series, to be co-produced by Dirty Mo Media, which will be distributed acorss B/R’s social and digital platforms.

Layne Riggs to Honor the Ride that Launched His Father’s NASCAR Career at Darlington
Layne Riggs will throw it all the way back to the year 2000 this weekend at Darlington Raceway as he honors his father Scott Riggs with the paint scheme on his No. 38 Front Row Motorsports Ford F-150.
Riggs will carry the iconic look of the No. 86 RC Cola machine that helped launch the NASCAR career of his father. The younger Riggs’ primary sponsor Infinity Communications allowed it’s branding to be altered to better fit the scheme. Aside from the numbers on the sides of the truck, the look is spot-on.

Dawson Sutton to Attempt Truck Debut at Wilkesboro in Second Rackley WAR Entry
Dawson Sutton, who has impressed at the Late Model level for Rackley WAR, will elevate his driving duties for the team. The 18-year-old racer will attempt to make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at North Wilkesboro Speedway later this month, piloting a second entry — the No. 26 — for the team.
“I have been super excited waiting to share this announcement that I’ll be making my NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut,” Sutton said. “I really want to thank all of my supporters, including Rackley Roofing Company, WAR Shocks, and Team Chevrolet. I’m also grateful for my parents. My dad has invested so much into me since I started racing two years ago, and my mom as well, as she’s been with me every step of the way at racetracks all over the country.”
