Ty Majeski Edges Out Corey Heim for Truck Series Pole at Richmond
Sure, it was close, but Ty Majeski scored his second-consecutive NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pole at Richmond Raceway on Friday as he topped Corey Heim by half a tenth of a second. This marks Majeski’s fifth-career NASCAR Truck Series pole.
Of course, Majeski is a very experienced short track racer, and him starting from the front should bode well for him in Saturday evening’s race.

AJ Allmendinger Capitalizes on Richmond Detour to Score Xfinity Pole at Road America
People have questioned AJ Allmendinger and Kaulig Racing for basically throwing away NASCAR Cup Series practice and qualifying so Allmendinger can chase a victory in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Road America. But one thing can’t be questioned; Allmendinger is fast as heck on road courses.
The driver just 17 points outside the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs Cutline will start Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Road America from the pole position. Cole Custer will lineup alongside from second.

Paul Tracy Suspended by SRX Racing After Accident at Pulaski County
SRX Racing officials finally saw enough from Paul Tracy, who ignited a massive crash on Thursday at Pulaski County Motorsports Park in the third SRX event of the 2023 season. Following Thursday’s mental lapse on track, SRX is taking action and have chosen to suspend Tracy.
While the length of the suspension has not been disclosed, SRX CEO Don Hawk says the decision didn’t come easy, but at the end of the day driver safety is paramount in SRX.
“We take issues regarding driver safety extremely seriously at SRX. This is not a decision we take lightly. It is our responsibility to ensure that we foster a competitive, and most importantly, a safe racing environment. I have been in contact with Paul directly and we appreciate his cooperation on this matter.”
