Ty Majeski Wins Truck Series Pole at Gateway for Second Straight Year
Ty Majeski has things figured out at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway as the driver of the No. 98 ThorSport Racing Ford F-150 scored his second consecutive NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pole position at the race track on Friday.
Majeski will be joined on the front row by Christian Eckes.

Carl Edwards “Shocked” By Impending Hall of Fame Induction; Explains Reasons for Retirement
Since retiring from NASCAR Cup Series competition surprisingly at the conclusion of the 2016 NASCAR Cup Series season, Carl Edwards has been a hard guy to track down. After being named to the 2025 NASCAR Hall of Fame Class, Edwards met with the media to talk about the honor, his exit from the sport, and whether he’ll ever return.
Edwards says he is shocked to be named to the Hall of Fame, and that he left the sport due to fear of suffering injury in the future. Edwards says he has no aspirations of returning behind the wheel, but says he would be open to a broadcasting role.

Sawalich Parks It In The Pacific Northwest, Wins The Portland 112
William Sawalich got it done Friday afternoon at Portland International Raceway as he scored the ARCA Menards Series West win in the Portland 112. For Sawalich, it was redemption as he came up shy of the win in this event a season ago.
“Definitely worked on our road course program in the off-season. I worked on myself. I wasn’t that great last year. Put in the work. Got the win here so that feels really good. A lot of confidence rolling into Sonoma and I know we’re gonna be really good there,” the Eden Praire, MN native said post-race.
