Layne Riggs Making Xfinity Debut at Texas; Signs Three-Race Deal with Kaulig Racing
Young phenom Layne Riggs, who has excelled in the local short track world, has landed the best opportunity of his young NASCAR National Series career. On Monday, Kaulig Racing announced that it had reached a multi-race agreement with Riggs in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
In an exclusive interview with Racing America, Riggs detailed that the deal is for three races, which include Texas Motor Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and Martinsville Speedway.
The 21-year-old will have primary sponsorship from Infinity Communications, a longtime supporter of his racing endeavors.

Report: Road America Not Expected to Host Annual Xfinity Series Event in 2024
A staple on the NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule since the 2010 season, will not be hosting a NASCAR National Series event in 2024. According to a report from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Road America let season ticketholders know of the change over the weekend.
“So, it’s possible 2024 will be a one-year hiatus for NASCAR at Road America,” the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report states. According to the track’s tentative schedule, IndyCar is scheduled to compete at Road America in June.
The 4.048-mile road course is one of the most scenic and unique tracks on the circuit, and the track hosted NASCAR Cup Series events in 2021 and 2022.
