Kyle Busch Feels He’s a ‘Complete Letdown’ to His Team After Texas Crash
Following an early crash at Texas Motor Speedway, Kyle Busch was left shaking his head in disbelief. He radioed to his team that he felt there was an issue with his car, and the team told him to take it easy and nurse it to the finish of the Stage. Busch pushed a little too hard, and the car went around on him.
After a trip to the infield care center, Busch explained that he feels like he is putting his team in a bad position every week.
“I’m a complete letdown to my team right now,” Busch stated after exiting the infield care center. “Not being able to get the results we need. Every time I try, I crash. It’s like the less I try, the more I ride around, the better day we have.”
Busch enters Talladega Superspeedway in the final position in the Round of 12 Playoff Grid after the Texas crash.

Wonder Bread, Old Spice Join Stewart-Haas Racing for ‘Talladega Nights’ Tribute in YellaWood 500
Shake and Bake? How about Preece and Chase?!
This weekend, the Stewart-Haas Racing teammates Ryan Preece and Chase Briscoe will pilot cars sponsored by Wonder Bread and Old Spice, and they will look nearly identical to paint schemes that were run in the iconic 2006 film Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
“Talladega Nights is one movie that most people have seen and laughed with, and these really cool paint schemes will bring back those memories,” Preece said. “Getting to have my teammate, Chase Briscoe, in the Old Spice car makes it all come together. The movie remains relevant after all these years, and there’s no better track than Talladega to work with your teammates. We’re going to have a lot of fun this weekend and I hope we get the No. 41 Wonder Bread Ford Mustang in victory lane.”

Front Row Motorsports to Field Second Truck Entry With Brett Moffitt at Talladega
Brett Moffitt, who has run the full NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule for AM Racing in 2023, will run a second NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series entry (No. 34) for Front Row Motorsports this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway.
The effort will be backed by FR8 Auctions and FR8 Racing, and Moffitt will utilize a throwback scheme that he ran for Front Row Motorsports back in 2015 in the NASCAR Cup Series.
Moffitt, the 2018 NASCAR Truck Series champion, is excited for the opportunity.
“I really want to thank Bob Jenkins, Marcus Barela at Fr8Auctions.com and FR8 Racing for this opportunity,” said Moffitt. “It’s really cool to have this opportunity in the truck series again, especially with a championship team. I always loved my time at FRM and now we’re back together again with the same scheme that we all raced together- all the credit goes to the people at Fr8 for making that idea come together. I can’t wait to go race for a win and help Zane in his title defense.”
