Brad Keselowski, Christopher Bell Win All-Star Heat Races at North Wilkesboro
Brad Keselowski and Christopher Bell took home dominant wins in their respective NASCAR All-Star Heat Races on Saturday, but each driver took a different path to the victory.
Keselowski opted to stay out on old tires during the Lap 30 competition caution in Heat Race 1, and he was able to somehow stay ahead of William Byron and Ross Chastain, who spent several laps side-by-side with Keselowski in the closing laps of the Heat.
Bell, on the other hand, pitted for two tires during Heat 2 and pulled away to a decisive win.
With the Heat Races in the rear-view mirror, the starting lineup is set for Sunday’s NASCAR All-Star Race.

Chandler Smith Sneaks Through Carnage for Wilkesboro Win
The seas parted, and Chandler Smith squeaked by to take the lead as Layne Riggs and Corey Heim had a scuffle for the lead on the final lap of Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Window World 250 at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
As Riggs went up the hill in Turns 1 and 2, Heim was sent spinning from the lead down the backstretch. This slowed Riggs enough for Smith to get by on the inside line, and he would cruise to his second win of the season.
