Ken Schrader to Compete for 2023 SRX Championship
Ken Schrader, who has found major amounts of success throughout his career in NASCAR, Late Model Racing, USAC, and several other disciplines, will join the Superstar Racing Experience this Summer to compete full-time.
The 68-year-old driver returns to the Camping World SRX Series in 2023 after making a one-off start in the series at I-55 Speedway last year, where he finished in third place, behind Tony Stewart and Marco Andretti.
“I am definitely very excited about running the complete SRX schedule this season. After being involved the last two seasons it amazes me how competitive the series is, how nice the facilities we go to are, and how enthusiastic the large crowds are that come out for the SRX events,” said Schrader. “Thursday Night Thunder on ESPN brings the sport back in time, and I’m glad to be a part of it.”

Ullico Backing Tyler Ankrum, Hattori Racing Enterprises at Mid-Ohio
Tyler Ankrum and Hattori Racing Enterprises have secured sponsorship in the form of Ullico, for next weekend’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, the team announced Friday.
The company, which is a provider of financial security for several unions and their members, will adorn the No. 16 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in the second-annual O’Reilly Auto Parts 150 on July 8.
“We are thrilled to partner with LiUNA member, Tyler Ankrum, on his NO. 16 for the upcoming NASCAR Truck race at Mid-Ohio,” said Brian Hale, Ullico President and COO. “As the only labor-owned insurance and investment company, Ullico has been a champion for the American worker since 1927. We work to empower unions and their members by investing in projects that put them to work and by providing insurance that protects them and their families. Sponsoring a union member like Tyler as he races in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series was one more way to power that mission. On behalf of everyone at Ullico, we wish him much success in Ohio.”
