Justin Marks Denies ‘Unreliable Media’ Reports of Pitbull Leaving Trackhouse Racing
It all started as a rumor from a user in the r/NASCAR subreddit, and then was picked up by notorious clickbait website EssentiallySports, and then later Newsmax, and Daily Downforce. The rumor was that Pitbull was leaving the Trackhouse Racing team at season’s end.
The rumor cited the new minority investment from Avenue Sports Group and Justin Marks changing his bio on his X account as the catalyst. However, on Wednesday morning Justin Marks stomped out the unfounded rumors.
“Every single element to the stories of my friend and partner @pitbull leaving Trackhouse are materially untrue,” Marks said in his post on X. “Unreliable ‘media’ perpetuating a lie. We have big plans for 2025 and beyond!”
Don’t believe everything you read online, folks. And this situation should serve as a wake-up call to journalists who rely solely on Reddit posts to form their stories.
