Carvana, Jimmie Johnson Unveil ‘Petty Blue’ Design for 2024 Daytona 500
As Jimmie Johnson attempts to lock himself into the field for the 2024 Daytona 500, he’ll be carrying a famous paint scheme on his path. On Thursday, LEGACY MOTOR CLUB and Carvana unveiled a throwback paint scheme, which honors the look that Richard Petty won the 1964 Daytona 500 with.
“Seeing my family honored in such a significant way by another NASCAR legend, Jimmie Johnson, is a humbling experience,” said Richard Petty, “The King” and co-owner of LEGACY MOTOR CLUB. “It’s a testament to the enduring impact of the Petty family on racing and we couldn’t be prouder to tie our storied history to Jimmie’s success and the future of this great sport.”

Toni Breidinger Returns to TRICON Garage for Daytona; Forges Partnership with CELSIUS
Toni Breidinger is set to return to TRICON Garage for a slate of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events in 2024, and she’ll get it all kicked off at Daytona International Speedway in the team’s No. 1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.
Breidinger will carry primary sponsorship from CELSIUS in that event, and she’ll also compete in the ARCA season-opener at Daytona for Venturini Motorsports as well. Breidinger is scheduled for a full-time ARCA effort in 2024.

Kaulig Racing Taps Shane Van Gisbergen for Seven-Race Cup Schedule in No. 16
Shane van Gisbergen has a big season of NASCAR National Series racing ahead of him as his schedule is sitting at 40 races with the addition of a seven-race NASCAR Cup Series schedule for Kaulig Racing, which was announced on Thursday.
The 34-year-old will pilot the No. 16 Kaulig Cup entry at COTA, Talladega 1, Charlotte, Chicago Street, Watkins Glen, Talladega 2, and Las Vegas 2.
Through a partnership with Trackhouse Racing, Kaulig Racing will also field a full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series entry for SVG in 2024.
