Jimmie Johnson Final Driver Announced to NASCAR 75 Greatest Drivers List

Jimmie Johnson was officially announced as the 75th and final driver added to the NASCAR 75 Greatest Drivers List, a list built in celebration of NASCAR’s 75th anniversary season. Johnson’s addition to the list was announced on FS1’s NASCAR Race Hub.
Johnson, a seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, won five consecutive NASCAR Cup titles between 2006 and 2010, a feat that will likely never be duplicated. Johnson also scored 83 wins over an illustrious career.

Kyle Larson to Pilot No. 7 Spire Motorsports Truck at North Wilkesboro

With Alex Bowman stepping aside due to a fractured Vertebra sustained in a sprint car crash on April 25th, Kyle Larson will take over the driving duties of the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado in next week’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Tyson 250 at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
The race will serve as extra seat time for Larson in an effort to prepare for the NASCAR All-Star race at North Wilkesboro. NASCAR hasn’t raced at the 0.625-mile short track since the 1996 season.

Jason Houghtaling, MBM Motorsports Part Ways; Chris Atteberry to Crew Chief No. 66 Team

Jason Houghtaling, who has served as a crew chief for MBM Motorsports since the mid-way point of the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, has parted ways with the team beginning this weekend at Darlington Raceway.
Chris Atteberry will take over as crew chief of the No. 66 MBM Motorsports entry, while Houghtaling will slide over as the car chief for the No. 31 Jordan Anderson Racing team.
