TC Daily Pit Stop: Jesse Love Continues Hot Start to 2025, Takes Atlanta Pole; Mosack Claims First Career Truck Pole
TC Daily Pit Stop: Saturday, February 22nd, 2025
The starting lineup for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta will be set on Saturday, and we have a full slate of racing action as well.
Jesse Love on Pole at Atlanta, RCR Continues Superspeedway Dominance
Jesse Love followed up a win in last week’s NASCAR Xfinity Series season-opening event at Daytona by scoring the pole position for this week’s race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. This marks the sixth career pole for the 20-year-old racer, and he has yet to start in any position but the pole through his three career starts at Atlanta.
Love is looking to avenge a heartbreaking loss in this race a season ago, where he led 157 of the 169 laps, but failed to win after running out of gas in the closing laps.
Austin Hill, Love’s Richard Childress Racing teammate, will start from the outside of the front row in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race. Josh Williams surprised by snatching the best starting position of his NASCAR Xfinity Series career, as he’ll start third on Saturday.

Connor Mosack Scores Maiden Truck Series Pole at Atlanta
26-year-old Connor Mosack picked up the first pole position of his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series career on Friday at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The driver of the No. 81 McAnally-Hilgemann Racing Chevrolet Silverado says winning the pole is great, but he has his eye on the prize, which is a win in Saturday’s Fr8 208.
“It sounds pretty good,” Mosack said. “We still have work to do tomorrow but feel really good about the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation Chevrolet Silverado that we brought. MHR brought four really fast trucks, so, I feel like we have a really solid team behind us. Hopefully, we can work together tomorrow and keep them up front.”
Grant Enfinger will start from the outside of the front row, and Mosack’s MHR teammate Daniel Hemric narrowly missed out on the front row of the starting lineup for Saturday’s race.
