Jason Burdett Not Returning as Crew Chief for JR Motorsports in 2024
Jason Burdett, a long-time crew chief in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for JR Motorsports, will not return to the organization in 2024, the team officially confirmed to TobyChristie.com’s Joseph Srigley on Tuesday.
Burdett first joined JR Motorsports in 2015, after a successful seven-year stint as car chief for Hendrick Motorsports drivers Jeff Gordon (2008 to 2010) and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (2011 to 2014) in the NASCAR Cup Series.
Over the course of his 293 starts as a crew chief in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Burdett has accumulated a career total of 18 wins, 113 top-five, and 193 top-10 finishes, as well as three pole positions and 4,305 laps led.
JR Motorsports says it has no further announcements to make in regards to its crew chief lineup for the 2024 season.

Mahindra Tractors will continue to showcase its iconic red and black colors on the No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford Mustang in the NASCAR Cup Series, which will continue to be driven by Chase Briscoe in 2024.
On Tuesday, the team announced that the partnership will continue in a multiyear agreement, which will keep the company firmly set as the anchor partner for the No. 14 team for years to come. For Mahindra, the partnership with SHR has helped them gain familiarity in the marketplace.

Cottonelle, Bimbo Bakeries Return as Partners of JTG Daugherty Racing in 2024
On Tuesday, JTG Daugherty Racing made a pair of sponsorship renewal announcements. Kimberly-Clark’s Cottonelle brand will return as a partner on the No. 47 Kroger Chevrolet Camaro driven by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. during the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.
The iconic brand will reprise its role as the co-primary sponsor on the No. 47 entry for the season-opening Daytona 500.

2024 Daytona 500 Grandstand Seating Officially Sold Out
On Tuesday, NASCAR and Daytona International Speedway announced that grandstand seating for the 2024 Daytona 500, which is set for Sunday, February 18th, is officially sold out.
While the official announcement came on November 28th, track president Frank Kelleher actually recorded a video at Homestead-Miami Speedway in October, where he stated that the 2024 Daytona 500 was declared a sell out.
Daytona International Speedway finally shared that video on its social media channels on Tuesday, but the video has since been deleted. The sell out of the 2024 Daytona 500 marks the ninth-consecutive sell out of The Great American Race.
