Jason Burdett No Longer with LEGACY MOTOR CLUB
LEGACY MOTOR CLUB is set to make some significant changes to its third, part-time entry in the NASCAR Cup Series, TobyChristie.com has learned.
Veteran NASCAR crew chief Jason Burdett, who last December was tapped to work with seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson as crew chief of the No. 84 Toyota Camry XSE, is no longer with the organization, a team representative confirmed.
Before jumping to LEGACY MC, Burdett spent nine seasons as a crew chief in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for JR Motorsports, collecting 18 victories working with drivers Regan Smith, Justin Allgaier, and Brandon Jones.
These personnel changes won’t impact the schedule for the No. 84 Toyota Camry XSE, which will enter events at Kansas, Las Vegas, and Phoenix.
