Jake Finch Tapped for Dover Xfinity Debut in Hendrick No. 17
Hendrick Motorsports has tapped Jake Finch to drive the No. 17 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet in the NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Dover Motor Speedway, the organization announced on Monday.
Finch will not only make his debut in the second-tier series, but will also make his first start in NASCAR’s National Series. The Lynn Haven, Florida-native is a previous winner at the one-mile concrete oval.

Rajah Caruth Competing in Xfinity Race at Dover with Jordan Anderson Racing
Rajah Caruth, a two-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race-winner, will attempt to make his first NASCAR Xfinity Series start since the 2023 season as he is set to get behind the wheel of the No. 32 Jordan Anderson Racing Chevrolet this weekend at Dover Motor Speedway.
Events DC will support Caruth’s efforts to compete in the event on Saturday, July 19.
“Having a driver of Rajah’s caliber join our team at Dover is a huge opportunity,” said team owner Jordan Anderson. “He’s already proven himself as a winner at one of the highest levels of our sport, and having watched him grow from a determined young racer into a two-time Truck Series winner has been incredible. There lone “Open” team on the entry list for this weekend’s race is the No. 44 NY Racing Team Chevrolet with JJ Yeley behind the wheel.

There are 40 cars on the entry list for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series BetRivers 200 at Dover Motor Speedway, the 20th race of the 33-race NASCAR Xfinity Series season.
Among the notable entries this weekend are Jake Finch, who will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in the No. 17 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, Lavar Scott, who will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in the No. 45 Alpha Prime Racing Chevrolet, and Rajah Caruth, who will make his first start in the series in three seasons as he drives the No. 32 Jordan Anderson Racing Chevrolet.
