Hendrick Motorsports Confirms Hooters No Longer a Team Partner
Hooters, a multi-year partner of Chase Elliott and Hendrick Motorsports, has parted ways with the organization at the request of the race team, Kelly Crandall of RACER reported on Monday.
“In recent months, however, Hooters has not been able to meet its business obligations to our organization,” a statement from Hendrick Motorsports reads. “Due to these unfortunate and unexpected circumstances, and despite extensive efforts on both sides to identify a workable solution, it became necessary for Hendrick Motorsports to end the relationship.”
The restaurant was scheduled to sponsor Elliott at Richmond in the late-Summer.

Hailie Deegan Out, Joey Logano In the AM Racing No. 15 at Chicago
Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano will take over driving duties of the No. 15 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for AM Racing in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at the Chicago Street Course.
Hailie Deegan, the organization’s full-time competitor, will not be behind the wheel of her typical No. 15, where she sits 27th in NASCAR Xfinity Series point standings. As of Monday, her name did not appear on the entry list in any other seat.
Klutch Vodka, scheduled to sponsor Deegan in the event, will sponsor Logano.

Sage Karam will compete in Saturday’s Xfinity Series event at the Chicago Street Course, driving the No. 26 Toyota GR Supra for Sam Hunt Racing. Sponsorship for the effort will come from Colture Sports, a sports management company which has ties in the basketball and football worlds

Ty Dillon to Pilot No. 4 JD Motorsports Entry in Xfinity Street Race at Chicago
Ty Dillon, a long-time NASCAR Cup Series competitor and current full-timer in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, will make his second Xfinity Series start of the season in The Loop 110 at the Chicago Street Course.
Dillon will drive the No. 4 Chevrolet Camaro with sponsorship from Crav’n Flavor.
“It’s great to have new faces like Crav’n Flavor in the sport,” Dillon said in a press release. “I’m proud to welcome them into NASCAR. I can’t wait to highlight the brand for shoppers across the country. I’m thankful to Johnny Davis for letting me be the one to introduce Crav’n Flavor to NASCAR fans.”
