Corey Heim Defeats ‘Nemesis’ Charlotte, Collects Fourth Win of 2025
Until Friday’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200, it had been close but no cigar for Corey Heim at Charlotte Motor Speedway. That all changed as Heim thumped the field with another incredibly dominant performance as he cruised to his fourth win of the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season.
Heim led 98 of the 134 laps on the night, he swept Stages 1 and 2, turned the Xfinity Fastest Lap, and he held off NASCAR Cup Series regular Ross Chastain for the win by 6.229 seconds.
With 14 more races to go this season, Heim has already surpassed his career-best total for laps led in a NASCAR Truck Series season as he now has 752 after Friday night’s event.
