Justin Haley to Pilot No. 51 Ware Car in 2024 With Chris Lawson as Crew Chief
We officially know which Rick Ware Racing entry Justin Haley will pilot during the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season — he’ll drive the No. 51 Ford Mustang.
The team made the announcement of Haley’s 2024 ride on Tuesday, and they also announced Chris Lawson, who served as the crew chief of the Front Row Motorsports NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team, will move over to be Haley’s crew chief with Rick Ware Racing.

Carvana Returns as Three-Race Primary Sponsor for Jimmie Johnson, LEGACY in 2024
On Tuesday, LEGACY MOTOR CLUB and Carvana announced a three-race primary sponsorship schedule for seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and 2024 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee Jimmie Johnson for the 2024 season.
Johnson will carry the Carvana brand on his No. 84 Toyota Camry XSE in the Daytona 500, Brickyard 400, and the season finale at Phoenix Raceway.
The three race schedule for Carvana brings Johnson up to a total schedule of nine NASCAR Cup Series races for the upcoming season.

Harrison’s to Serve as Two-Race Primary Sponsor for Josh Berry in 2024
As Josh Berry heads into his NASCAR Cup Series rookie season with Stewart-Haas Racing, he’ll have a familiar partner on the hood of his No. 4 Ford Mustang for two races in 2024.
Harrison’s, a South Carolina-based family-owned clothing and footwear chain, will serve as the primary sponsor for Berry in the February 25 event at Atlanta Motor Speedway and the NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway in May.
Harrison’s sponsored Berry in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

NASCAR Adjusts Field Size for 2024 Busch Light Clash, No Other Major Changes to Format
On Tuesday, NASCAR revealed the official race format for the 2024 Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum, and honestly, there weren’t too many changes in the format. The biggest change is that the starting field for the Main Event will decrease from 27 cars last season to 23 cars this year.
Additionally, the two 50-lap Last Chance Qualifier Races will be converted into one 75-lap Last Chance Qualifier, and single-car qualifying for the heat races will be eliminated. Final Practice speeds will be utilized instead.
