GMS Racing, GMS Fabrication to Shut Down Following 2023 Truck Series Season
GMS Racing, which has been a dominant force in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for years, will shutter its NASCAR Truck Series team at the conclusion of the 2023 season finale at Phoenix Raceway. The team confirmed the intention to close its NASCAR Truck Series team on Wednesday.
In addition to the GMS Racing truck series team, GMS Fabrication, which is a separate entity that has run alongside GMS Racing, will be shutting its doors at season’s end as well.

Morgan & Morgan Inks Multi-Race, Multi-Year Sponsorship Agreement with Richard Childress Racing
Morgan & Morgan has officially reached a multi-year, multi-race [rimary sponsorship deal with Richard Childress Racing, which will see the largest injury law firm in the United States serve as the primary sponsor of Austin Dillon and the No. 3 team, and Kyle Busch and the No. 8 team.
Austin Dillon will have the first primary sponsorship turn with Morgan & Morgan in the Cookout Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway, while Busch will carry the colors at his home track — Las Vegas Motor Speedway — on October 15th.

Trevor Bayne Returns to Xfinity Competition in Three-Race Deal with Joe Gibbs Racing
Trevor Bayne will officially return to the Joe Gibbs Racing NASCAR Xfinity Series team for three races this season. Bayne will pilot the No. 19 Toyota Supra in Friday’s Wawa 250 Presented by Coca-Cola at Daytona. Bayne will also run at Bristol Motor Speedway on September 15th and Texas Motor Speedway on September 23rd.
Interstate Batteries will play a sponsorship role in Bayne’s three-race schedule.
Bayne amassed five top-five finishes and seven top-10s for JGR last season in a nine-race schedule in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
