Gene Haas Will Field One Chartered “Haas Factory Team” NASCAR Entry in 2025
Stewart-Haas Racing will cease to exist as a NASCAR organization in 2025, but team co-owner Gene Haas will actually remain a team owner next season. On Thursday, Haas announced that he will retain one of the current Stewart-Haas Racing team Charters, and will field a single-car team titled the “Haas Factory Team”.
Joe Custer, the current Chief Operating Officer of SHR, will serve as the president of the new race team, and the Haas Factory Team will operate out of the current Stewart-Haas Racing shop in Kannapolis, NC.
The team will also field two full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series entries next season. The team did not announce any drivers, car numbers, or a manufacturer alliance in the announcement.

Logano Crew Chief Paul Wolfe Excited, Confident for New Hampshire
After Ryan Blaney’s win last weekend at Iowa Speedway, two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano is the lone Team Penske driver without a race win this year. However, heading into New Hampshire, his crew chief Paul Wolfe is feeling confident in their chances to score their first win.
“But you’ve got to look at it and know that we were a part of that in a way in helping build the program and the way we all work together, so it definitely gives us confidence. Like I said, if we can’t be in Victory Lane, there’s nothing better than seeing one of our team cars because it gives you another data point of, ‘OK, we’re on the right path here,’ the things we’ve been working on are correct and we’ll keep massaging on it as we move forward to Loudon this weekend.”
Logano and Wolfe have scored three top-five finishes in their last four starts at the 1.058-mile track in New Hampshire.
