Spire Motorsports, Gainbridge Agree to Multi-Year Sponsorship; Andretti Making Truck Debut at Mid-Ohio
Spire Motorsports and Gainbridge, a Group 1001 company, have agreed to a multi-year sponsorship agreement, which will debut this weekend in both the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
The partnership will rotate between the organization’s two full-time entries in the NASCAR Cup Series, beginning Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway, where Corey LaJoie will pilot the No. 7 Gainbridge Chevrolet Camaro.
After Atlanta, Gainbridge will then alternate its primary sponsorship between LaJoie and teammate Ty Dillon, who pilots the No. 77 Chevrolet Camaro, for 16 of the final 18 NASCAR Cup Series events in 2023.
Additionally, third-generation IndyCar competitor and 2022 SRX Champion, Marco Andretti, will pilot the organization’s No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado in Saturday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 150 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, with sponsorship from Group 1001.

Landen Lewis Making Truck Series Debut with Roper Racing at Mid-Ohio
Landen Lewis, a championship contender in the ARCA Menards Series West, will travel to Lexington, Ohio this weekend in an attempt to make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
The 17-year-old driver will partner with Roper Racing to pilot the No. 04 Carquest Chevrolet Camaro in Saturday’s event at the 2.258-mile road course. Bruce Cook, Lewis’ team owner in the ARCA West Series, will serve as crew chief of the entry.
“This has been a dream of mine to compete in the NASCAR Truck Series, and I cannot wait to make my debut in the No. 04 Carquest Chevrolet for Roper Racing,” said Lewis. “I want to thank Cory Roper and everyone at Roper Racing for this incredible opportunity. I am honored to be a part of such a dedicated team and I’m excited to take on another road course behind the wheel of the Carquest Auto Parts Chevrolet.”

Austin Dillon to Make SRX Debut at Eldora Speedway
Austin Dillon, a multi-time NASCAR National Series champion currently competing full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, will make his debut in the Camping World SRX Series this Summer at Eldora Speedway.
Dillon, the grandson of legendary NASCAR team owner Richard Childress, will be the latest driver from the highest rank of NASCAR to compete in the Superstar Racing Experience, joining Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Daniel Suarez, and teammate Kyle Busch.
“I love dirt racing. It’s so much fun, and Eldora Speedway has been such a key place for my dirt racing career over the years,” said Dillon. “I’m thrilled to be able to join SRX racing at a track that has a lot of history and means so much to me personally. I can’t wait to make more memories at Eldora Speedway and battle alongside some of the most accomplished names in motorsports.”
Ernie Francis, Jr. Joins SRX for Season-Finale at Lucas Oil Speedway
Ernie Francis, Jr. – who competes full-time in the Indy NXT Series for Force India, will return to the Superstar Racing Experience in 2023, competing in the series’ season-finale at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri.
Francis has been a part of the Camping World SRX Series since its inception in 2021, finishing runner-up in championship standings to Tony Stewart in the series’ inaugural season.
“SRX is always a blast to complete in,” said Ernie Francis, Jr. “The drivers are some of the best from their distinct disciplines, and I am excited to put myself to the test on the dirt at Lucas Oil.”
