Frankie Muniz Joins Joey Gase Motorsports for Xfinity Season-Opener at Daytona
Frankie Muniz had been teasing that he had his plans for the 2024 NASCAR racing season figured out recently, on Friday, Muniz announced that he will run a part-time NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule in 2024 with Joey Gase Motorsports beginning with the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway.
The 38-year-old will pilot the No. 35 Ford Mustang for the Gase team.
“I am very fortunate to have the unwavering support of Ford and Ford Performance through my NASCAR journey, and I am very humbled yet excited to be teamed up with Joey Gase Motorsports to attempt my NASCAR Xfinity Series debut next weekend at Daytona International Speedway,” Muniz said.

Floridian Motorsports Truck Team to Debut at Daytona with Mason Maggio
We have a brand new team entering the fray in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2024 as Floridian Motorsports, a team owned by Scott Osteen, will attempt to make the field for the season-opening race.
Mason Maggio will pilot the team’s No. 21 Toyota Tundra, a chassis that was recently acquired from On Point Motorsports and was a former KBM chassis.
The team will have sponsorship from East Coast Lumber & Supply, Ace Hardware Crossroads, Ace Hardware Rock Hill, Ace Hardware Hob Sound, and Ace Hardware Apalachee. Depending on how Daytona goes, the team could run more events as the 2024 season progresses.

Jennifer Jo Cobb Set for Late Entry Into Daytona Truck Race
Jennifer Jo Cobb will head to Daytona International Speedway as a late entry as she attempts to lock into the field for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event in the No. 10 Chevrolet Silverado for her Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing team.
The 50-year-old racer says that the final details of her entry are still coming together and that sponsorship partners and the crew chief or truck chief for the effort will be revealed soon.
“Seriously still trying to figure it out,” Cobb explained.

Bass Pro Shops Reveals 2024 Sponsorship Schedule for Austin Dillon, Martin Truex, Jr.
On Friday, Bass Pro Shops revealed its full primary sponsorship schedule for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season on Martin Truex Jr.’s No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry as well as Austin Dillon’s No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Camaro.
Truex will carry the colors in 23 points-paying events in addition to the now completed Clash, the Daytona 500, as well as the All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro.
Dillon will have Bass Pro Shops on his Chevrolet in 16 races including the season-opening Daytona 500.
