TC Daily Pit Stop: Fender Or No Fender, Tyler Reddick Keeps Winning
TC Daily Pit Stop: Monday, February 23, 2026
Tyler Reddick (Sans a Right-Front Fender) Goes Back-to-Back to Start 2026
With 38 laps left in regulation of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Autotrader 400 at EchoPark Speedway, Tyler Reddick was heavily involved in a multi-car melee, which ripped the right-front fender off of his No. 45 23XI Racing Toyota. However, that couldn’t keep Reddick down, as he was in the mix in the closing laps of the race despite the damage.
On the final restart of the race, which came on the second overtime finish attempt, Reddick’s teammate Bubba Wallace got into it with Carson Hocevar, which slowed both drivers’ progress, and paved the way for Reddick to move into the lead, and he would cross the finish line first for the second consecutive week.
Chase Briscoe would come home with a runner-up finish, while Ross Chastain, Hocevar, and Daniel Suarez rounded out the top-five finishers.
