Grant Enfinger led a race-high 65 laps in Saturday night’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Heart of America 200 at Kansas Speedway, and when the driver took the lead for the final time with 32 laps remaining, there was no looking back.
Enfinger blasted past Corey Heim and Zane Smith in a three-wide battle for the race win, and then set sail. Enfinger would go on to score his first win of the 2023 season, and his eighth-career NASCAR Truck Series win by more than four seconds over Heim.
Smith, Stewart Friesen, and Ross Chastain made up the rest of the top-five finishers on the night.

Toni Breidinger impressed mightily driving for TRICON Garage in her NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at Kansas. The 23-year-old skillfully avoided a couple of big crashes, and allowed the race come to her all night long on her path to a solid 15th-place finish.
With the great finish, Breidinger also made history as it is the best-ever NASCAR Truck Series debut for a female racer, beating Hailie Deegan’s previous mark of 16th.

William Byron scrubbed the wall in NASCAR Cup Series practice Saturday at Kansas Speedway, but he obviously didn’t scrub the good out of the car. Byron rocketed to the pole, his 10th-career pole position, in Saturday’s qualifying session for Sunday’s AdventHealth 400.
