Daniel Suárez Officially Sworn in as American Citizen
Tuesday, June 18, 2024 will forever be a special day for Trackhouse Racing’s Daniel Suárez. The driver of the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the NASCAR Cup Series was officially sworn in as a United States citizen in a naturalization ceremony with 47 other candidates at the Charlotte field office of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
With NASCAR President Steve Phelps on hand, Suárez placed his hand over his heart as the United States National Anthem played. At the conclusion of the oaths and National Anthem, Phelps awarded a citizen certificate to all 48 in the room.

Amid Silly Season Rumors, Justin Haley Reaffirms Commitment to Rick Ware Racing
After a rocky start to the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season, Justin Haley and the No. 51 Rick Ware Racing team have begun to find their footing in recent weeks. The driver, in his first year with the underdog team, picked up the organization’s first-ever two non-superspeedway NASCAR Cup Series top-10 finishes at Darlington Raceway and World Wide Technology Raceway.
According to recent rumors, which were amplified by a recent episode of the Door Bumper Clear Podcast, Haley has been mentioned as a possible replacement for Harrison Burton in the No. 21 Wood Brothers Racing Ford Mustang, as Burton has yet to be re-signed for next season.
In a Zoom media availability on Tuesday, Haley addressed the rumor and stated that despite what the chatter is, he is all-in on Rick Ware Racing.

Conor Daly Teams Up With Rette Jones Racing For Mid-Ohio
Veteran open-wheel driver Connor Daly is set to get his fenders back on again, as he’s teaming up with Rette Jones Racing to pilot the No. 30 car for the Zinsser SmartCoat 150 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
“Very excited to finally make my ARCA debut with Rette Jones Racing,” said Daly.
“This opportunity came up pretty last minute, but I love Mid-Ohio and really enjoy racing there. I’ve have raced a Truck there and so I have a little bit of heavy car experience there,” he added.

Frankie Muniz Joins Reaume Brothers Racing for Three Truck Races, and an ARCA Start
Frankie Muniz has added some races to his 2024 racing calendar as he’ll pilot some Reaume Brothers Racing Fords. The driver and team announced on Wednesday that Muniz will run three NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events, and one ARCA Menards Series event for the organization this season.
Muniz, 38, will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut behind the wheel of the No. 22 Reaume Brothers Racing Ford F-150 at Nashville Superspeedway on Friday, June 28.
While Muniz awaits his next NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start for the team, he will pilot the Reaume Brothers Racing ARCA Menards Series entry at Michigan International Speedway on August 16.
