Heat 1 Win Earns Daniel Suarez Pole for All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro

Daniel Suarez nudged his way past Chase Elliott, and endured 60 laps on the aged North Wilkesboro Speedway surface on wet weather tires to win NASCAR All-Star Heat 1. In doing so, Suarez will start from the pole in the NASCAR All-Star Race.

Chris Buescher Scores Win in All-Star Heat 2; Will Start Second in All-Star Race

Chris Buescher led wire-to-wire to score the win in NASCAR All-Star Heat Race 2 Saturday at North Wilkesboro Speedway. The race started on slick tires, but as weather hit the track around the midway point of the race, NASCAR had teams bolt on the wet weather tire.
It didn’t matter much as Buescher cruised to the Heat Race win, and will start on the outside of the front row for Sunday’s NASCAR All-Star Race.

Kyle Larson Earns Dominant Victory in Truck Series Return to North Wilkesboro
There was no stopping Kyle Larson in Saturday’s Tyson 250 at North Wilkesboro Speedway. Even with drivers attempting alternate strategies on a late-race restart, it was no match for the speed and tenacity of Kyle Larson, who scored the win in the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado.
Ironically enough, Larson wasn’t even scheduled to run this race, but only got the nod when Alex Bowman was injured in a sprint car crash at 34 Raceway on April 25th.
