On Thursday, Dale Earnhardt Jr. finally revealed the site of his second NASCAR Xfinity Series start of the 2023 season. In a video of a shopping trip at Bass Pro Shops, which he shared to social media, Earnhardt officially announced Homestead-Miami Speedway as the venue for his race in the No. 88 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet Camaro.

NASCAR Will Utilize Two Different Pit Road Speed Limits at Atlanta
In an effort to keep drivers from going multiple laps down during green flag pit stop sequences at Atlanta Motor Speedway, NASCAR is taking a unique approach to the extended pit road at the 1.54-mile superspeedway this weekend.
The pit road will have two different pit road speed limits in different sections.
Sections 1 and 2, which are in Turns 3 and 4 will have a 90 mph speed limit, while sections 3 through 18 (what was originally pit road) will have a speed limit of 45 mph. In the spring, sections 1 and 2 were added to pit road to reduce the chance of a big crash as drivers were attempting to knife from large drafting packs to pit.

‘Anything is Possible’ But Trackhouse Has No Plans For Additional PROJECT91 Races in 2023
Shane van Gisbergen scored a stirring victory last Sunday while driving the part-time No. 91 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 on the streets of Chicago. SVG won the race in his first-ever NASCAR Cup Series start, and it has prompted many to wonder if SVG could get some additional starts in the PROJECT91 entry this season.
On Thursday, Trackhouse team owner Justin Marks addressed the question by saying not at this time.
“We don’t have anything else on the board this year,” Trackhouse team owner Justin Marks said on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio on Thursday.
While Marks said there are no plans for additional starts this season as of now, he didn’t fully close the door on the possibility.
“I think anything is possible,” Marks said of additional races being added later. “I remain very, very committed to making sure that PROJECT91 is not a drain on what we’re doing on the No. 1 and No. 99. I think the diminishing returns happen after two or three races a year. It’s not impossible that we wheel that thing out again this year at Watkins Glen or the Roval, but as of right now, I’m happy just watching the replays from Chicago.”
