Chase Elliott to have Cousin Trey Poole as New Spotter for 2024
Following the December 2nd departure of longtime Hendrick Motorsports spotter Eddie D’Hondt, Chase Elliott and the No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports team have officially named a spotter for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.
Trey Poole, Elliott’s cousin who has served as an additional spotter for the team at road courses and other events that require multiple spotters, has received the nod. A Hendrick Motorsports representative confirmed to TobyChristie.com on Tuesday.

Brayton ‘The Pizza Man’ Laster Teams Up With TC Motorsports For Season Opener at Daytona
Brayton Laster, affectionately known around the racing world as ‘The Pizza Man’, has landed a ride heading into ARCA Menards Series testing at Daytona International Speedway. Laster will pilot the No. 91 Toyota Camry for Terry Carroll Motorsports in the season-opening test, and then he’ll also drive for the team in the ARCA season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway.
“Originally we had no intention of running Daytona this year or had any plans lined up. We talked to a couple of teams here and there just to see what was available throughout the season. We ended up getting connected with TC, and next thing you know we have a deal to run Daytona,” Laster said on the deal.
